NMBC Receives Letter of Understanding From Province To Manage Mary Jane, Flow Show, The Simple Life, and Corona

The NMBC is excited to announce that we have recently received a Letter of Understanding from the Province to manage Mary Jane, Flow Show, The Simple Life, and Corona in the Doumont Trail Network.

Earlier this year, the trail committee conducted a structural assessment on these trails as part of the application process to manage the trail. This assessment deemed many of the structures unsafe and in various states of disrepair, resulting in their removal.

With this Letter of Understanding now in place, the NMBC can begin making plans for the future of these trails. The NMBC is committed to continuing the fun, freeride aesthetic of these trails with improvements that adhere to Rec Sites & Trails trail difficulty guidelines.

If there’s something, in particular, you’d like to see included in the project, please email info@nanaimomountainbikeclub.com.
