GROUP RIDE DIFFICULTY LEVELS
Beginner
Fitness level: You can comfortably ride 0 – 5km and enjoy taking frequent breaks.
Trail type: Mostly green trails with some easier blues mixed in.
Intermediate Easy Pace
Intermediate Fast Pace
Intermediate rides typically include a mix of blue and some black trails. When it comes to obstacles, you’re confident and comfortable rolling over most small rock and rooty sections, and aren’t phased by small, rollable drops or the abrupt step-up. You can anticipate the terrain and maintain your balance on the bike through technical sections.
Fitness level: You can comfortably ride 10-15 km with just a few one-minute stops.
Trail type: A little bit of everything. Some blacks, mostly blues, and the occasional green trail.
Advanced Easy Pace
Advanced Fast Pace
Advanced riders should be comfortable riding a variety of singletrack, from to tight switchbacks to larger obstacles and rocky technical sections to steep, slippery climbs. In addition to having refined balance and cadence, you also have the stamina to ride harder, faster, and longer than the other skill levels. You confidently anticipate jumps and drops and pre-load your suspension accordingly.
Fitness level: You can comfortably ride 20+ km with very few stops.
Trail type: A little bit of everything. Some blacks, mostly blues, and the occasional green trail.
